Terms of service
Last updated
Version 2026-10-22. These terms govern your use of Pager at trypager.dev, operated by PalerQ Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria (RC 9652071). Support and legal requests go to support@trypager.dev.
Your account and content
Provide accurate account details, protect your Google sign-in, and use a username that does not impersonate another person or infringe their rights. You retain rights in content you submit. You give Pager permission to process it only as needed to provide the service, save progress, and deliver features you request. Only submit content you are entitled to share.
Authorized training
Use security exercises only in Pager’s assigned training environments or systems you are authorized to test. Do not use Pager to attack third parties, steal credentials, distribute malware, disrupt infrastructure, or bypass account and usage limits. Training files and example credentials are fictional. Do not upload production secrets or customer data.
Simulations, AI, and labs
Simulation teammates are automated fictional characters, not live support staff. Their responses and exercise material may contain errors. Pager provides training, not a guarantee that you will prevent or resolve a production incident. Verify advice independently before applying it to a real system. Labs are isolated, temporary workspaces; keep anything you need outside the lab before stopping or resetting it.
Teams
Create or manage a team only with authority to act for that organization. Explain assignment reporting to members and invite people lawfully. Owners manage access and purchased seats. Team reports cover linked assignments, not unrelated personal attempts. You remain responsible for your organization’s employment, privacy, and acceptable-use obligations. Contact support if your organization needs a data processing agreement before adding employee information.
Subscriptions
Prices, billing intervals, seat minimums, and included allowances appear on the pricing page and at checkout. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew unless canceled. Paddle handles checkout, payment, applicable transaction taxes, and receipts as merchant of record under its buyer terms. Review the final amount before purchase. Cancel from billing or Paddle’s customer portal. A scheduled cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
AI and lab allowances reset by UTC calendar month, including annual plans. Team allowances are pooled across paid seats. Stopping a lab refunds unused reserved minutes under the lab usage rules; it does not refund your subscription payment. Deleting your account is separate from canceling a subscription.
See the Refund policy for payment refunds and cancellation information.
Availability and changes
Pager targets a global audience, subject to applicable law and provider restrictions. Some locations or transactions may be unavailable. Do not misrepresent your location or identity to evade a restriction. We may restrict access to address abuse, security incidents, or legal requirements. We will explain material account action when permitted and appropriate.
We may update features, allowances, and these terms. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate. Any limits on liability or warranties apply only to the extent permitted by law; mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected. These terms do not promise uninterrupted availability or particular training outcomes.
Software and image notices
Pager application source is proprietary. Third-party components retain their own licenses. Read the software and font notices and portrait notices.
